Empire City Casino – Live entertainment at its best

There’s live entertainment in the lounge at Empire City Casino and never a cover charge! You can either valet park for $10 or park your own and take the shuttle to the Casino. Empire City features a full range of promotions and special events. Teri Lamar and New Company

Last night, 4th of July it was Teri Lamar and New Company from 8pm to Midnight. Teri Lamar and New Company’s repertoire encompasses an incredible variety of genres. Last nights line up was: Teri Lamar on Vocals and the talented guitarist and background vocalist Jerry Powell, on drums and vocals George Ruiz and on Keyboards/bass, lead and background vocals the talented Frank Brenna. Tommy “Pipes” McDonnell* was on vocals and percussion and Tony Carfora** on Saxofone.

You can catch Teri Lamar and New Company this coming Friday July 9th, 2010 in Ardsley’s Ashford Park from 7 to 9pm as “Music in the Air” unfolds part of a series of “Summer Concerts in the Park” presented by the Village of Ardsley. So bring your beach chair and blanket and have a picnic in the park. There is also a snack bar on premises. That is of course if you’re not joining us at Oakland Beach in Rye for the annual series of: “Picnic and Fireworks on the Beach

*You may have seen Tommy “Pipes” McDonnell in Universal Pictures’ “Blues Brothers 2000“, with Dan Aykroyd, John Goodman, Blue Lou Marini, Alan “Mr. Fabulous” Rubin, Steve Cropper, Matt Guitar Murphy, Duck Dunne, Paul Schaffer. Tommy has also shared the stage with such greats as BB King, James Brownand ZZ TOP.
