3rd Annual New York Wine Expo

New York, NY – February 26, 2010 - Hundreds of wine lovers, seasoned connoisseurs and new wine drinkers alike, poured into the Jacob Javits Center today for the 3rd Annual New York Wine Expo.

For three days, the New York Wine Expo Grand Tasting is featuring New York State wineries, as well as New World, European, Australian, and wines from China. In all, the Grand Tasting offers attendees a sampling of more than 600 wines from over 170 winemakers from around the globe including many affordably priced wines ranging from $12 to $25 a bottle and organic wines.

“Every year the wineries have new blends and new regions they are sampling, making each Expo unique,” said Ed Hurley, New York Wine Expo Show Director. “This weekend, consumers are taking the opportunity to go beyond their comfort zone and try varietals and blends they’ll love and will try again, either at home or while dining out.”

The New York Wine Expo is produced by Resource Plus Shows & Events. The company also produces the Boston Wine Expo, now in its 19th year, and the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival.
